Cave Bahamut

This optional visit assumes you’ve defeated Leviatan in the Land of Summons. Bring FuSoYa, whose Wall spell makes the final battle more manageable, and rest aboard the Lunar Whale before setting out.

Fly toward the large circular crater west of the palace region. Land on the northern approach and walk south into Cave Bahamut. There is no save point or sleeping spot inside. Exit works, so returning to the Whale is an option if you run low on MP.

Genji Treasure Sweep

Three Behemoths

The north bridge on B2F triggers the first Behemoth. Two more wait along the narrow B3F route, one near its beginning and one near its end. Heal before each trigger.

Use Blink on exposed physical attackers, have Cecil and Edge attack, and keep the healers ready. Avoid experimenting with enemy-targeted spells here: Behemoth’s counters and high magical defenses make that expensive. Rydia can use recovery items or Parry while the physical fighters work. You don’t have to make every character deal damage for the party to win efficiently.

After the third fight, restore both HP and casting MP before speaking to Bahamut. FuSoYa arriving with enough MP for one impressive spell is not the same as arriving ready for this battle.

Boss Fight Prep

Keep MoonVeil and StarVeil in the bag. Each lets its user apply Wall to themselves, so Cecil and Edge can help with their own protection while Rosa and FuSoYa cover the casters. Wall costs 30 MP; give both white-magic users enough MP to renew it.

Bahamut has 45,001 HP and counts down before MegaFire. Have Rosa and FuSoYa cast Wall, beginning with themselves so you don’t lose both people capable of maintaining protection. Let the other characters use their own veils where available. Reflected MegaFire supplies damage while Cecil and Edge contribute ordinary attacks.

If somebody falls, keep the surviving Wall casters protected before committing to a cycle of revivals. Winning with a smaller protected group is better than repeatedly reviving somebody into the next blast. Rydia can still learn the summon if she is KO at the end; revive her afterward.

After victory, use Exit, return to the Whale and sleep. Store displaced equipment, replenish Rosa’s equipped arrows, and keep room for the next dungeon’s treasure. When you’re ready for the story, use the ship’s crystal to return to Earth.
