Handle the post-Encephalon setup

1	Head to the game room and save.
2	You might want to open your and packs for level 10 KOS-MOS and level 10 chaos cards.
3	You may also want to hop into the Driller game and complete all four missions. The from mission 4 is a pretty powerful item: equip it to receive 25% more from each battle.

After the cut scenes, you’ll regain control on the bridge with the full party. This is a good time to update KOS-MOS’ equipment and abilities. Equip the if it arrived, set in her Fast slot, and consider combining with the AP+1 Skill from .

The near the bakery is the only one in this route and does not appear to respawn. If you’re completing the Gnosis Database, inspect it before defeating it. Its Slow Sting can do more than 300 damage, so heal before moving on.

Step	Action
1	: Defeat every reachable Gnosis except the one behind the counter, then talk to the guy by the poster twice.
2	: Save, then talk to the dying man on the floor. His treasure is inside, and the code is his daughter’s birthday. Go behind the counter and collect 1x (Got it:). Go upstairs, one room right, and up the ladder. Read the birthday on the poster, then collect: 1x from the rooftop box (Got it:) 1x from the storage box below (Got it:) Continue right, press the switch that raises the elevator, then return to the ground floor. Defeat the Troll by the safe, enter 1028 for October 28, and rescue the girl.
3	, behind the elevator: Make sure the outside crank has lowered the awning over the doorway. Destroy the boxes behind the raised elevator and collect: 1x (Got it:) 1x from the chest behind the counter (Got it:) Talk to the man who was hiding among the boxes.
4	Trash enclosure: Return to , save, go upstairs, climb the ladder, and take the lower-left door to the roof. Slide off the left side while holding up-left to reach the small platform above the smokestack. Follow the catwalk to the water-tower chest and collect . Got it Return right and drop into the trash enclosure. Destroy the bins for 1000G (Got it:), then talk to the man.
5	Statue: Go west, defeat the Gnosis beside the statue, and destroy the statue to free the citizen. Continue west, but watch out for the and its Slow Sting.
6	Bakery: If the bakery ladder is already down, climb it, cross the lowered platform, and press the switch to raise it. Climb back up and use the newly reachable middle door. Defeat the Bugbears, talk to the baker, and destroy the racks for 1000G (Got it:). Don’t use the slide. If the ladder is still raised, follow steps 7 and 8 far enough to lower it, return here for the baker, then resume where you left off.
7	Dry Cleaners counter: Take the path around the left. Destroy the rear-right bookshelf for 1x (Got it:), pass through the opening, and enter the laundry through the upper doorway. Damage Larva Dolls with or recovery items. Talk to the woman behind the counter, then destroy the desk for 2x (Got it:).
8	Dry Cleaners upper floor: Climb the ladder behind the destroyed desk and head upper-right. These Larva Dolls become Larva Faces after reaching 0 HP, so be ready for the replacement and use the if you can. Destroy the door at the far right, talk to the child, destroy the gate to the left, and go down.
9	East 6 garage, Johnny: Guard against Poison, go around the bakery through the two left doors, then follow the path up and right from the ladder. Go down outside, descend the stairs, and enter the garage door marked East 6. Destroy the car for 1x (Got it:). Defeat the Gnosis in the back-right corner and talk to Johnny.
10	East 6 garage, Mina: Destroy the nearby box and talk to Mina. Johnny and Mina will leave together.
11	East 6 upper floor, King: Follow them outside, go up the stairs, enter the upper-right door, and talk to King.
12	The cat: From King, go left across the bridge, forward, and back to the right. Defeat the Larva Dolls and press the button they were guarding. Go all the way around the catwalk, enter the opened route, head left and upstairs, defeat the enemies, destroy the door, and talk to the cat.
13	Rear Dry Cleaners: Return down the stairs and around the catwalk toward the switch, but take the left doorway instead of going right. Follow the hall to the Dry Cleaners. Destroy the lower-left shelf for 1x (Got it:), defeat the Larva Dolls, and talk to the woman. You should get the message that everyone has been rescued.

Head back through the hall. Hold down as you emerge unless you want to fight another immediately. Go down the bakery ladder, head east past the mayor, and save at .

Gigas

You’ll be fighting two Gigas here. The encounter begins as one target and splits into two enemies with 2,800 HP each.

Special	The encounter splits into two targets. Deathbringer causes Instant K.O.; prevents the Gnosis ability and can make the affected enemy waste turns trying to use it.
Steal	Each target carries Spirit as its normal item and Soul as its rare item. Steal both from each target if you want all four Skill items.
Weak / Absorbs	The pair use Spirit and Slash weaknesses; test each target rather than assuming their screen position.
Reward	7800 XP; 120 T.Pts; 100 E.Pts; 60 S.Pts; 0G per target.
Drops	Spirit; rare Soul.
Strategy	Have Jr. use on both targets first. Shion can steal while chaos or MOMO heals, then Jr. can help steal after is active. Keep everyone above about 400 HP and focus attacks on one target at a time. , , , , and all work well. If the fight goes bad, board your A.G.W.S. units. If you defeated and deliberately want Diamonds instead of the Skill items, MOMO’s is another option.

If Shion gets a turn before the split, steal immediately. Then keep stealing until you have 2x Soul and 2x Spirit. Those items finally unlock level 5 Skill extraction, which means you can start extracting from the and .

Once the fight is over, return to and save.
