Return to and save after defeating . If you want to fight Mintia before leaving the , this is your last convenient opportunity until shortly before the final dungeon.

Reach the hidden room
Step	Action
1	Put MOMO at the front of the field party before entering the hidden room.
2	Use the crank outside the to lower the awning over the doorway.
3	Enter , go upstairs, take the western room, and use its door to reach the catwalk.
4	Destroy the planter on the east side of the catwalk and drop onto the awnings.
5	Hold up-right while falling so MOMO reaches the open upper window instead of landing on the street.
6	Enter the second floor of the and walk forward. MOMO will notice something strange, and Mintia will appear.

Bring Shion, KOS-MOS, and MOMO if you want to avoid Mintia‘s counterattack against male party members. Set and on everyone, give each character a reliable way to heal, bring items, and put in MOMO’s Tech Attack menu so she can steal.

Mintia

HP / Type	7777 HP; Gnosis.
Special	Mintia counters attacks from male characters. Dark Snake inflicts , Shadow Eye lowers DEX, and Special Chains disables the Circle button and therefore Tech Attacks. Her blue Bibo attack reduces one target to 1 HP and transfers the lost HP to her; the pink version removes one quarter of the party’s current HP.
Steal	is the normal item; is rare. Take both before ending the battle.
Weak / Absorbs	No reported weakness or absorption.
Reward	22000 XP; 160 T.Pts; 240 E.Pts; 200 S.Pts; 12000G.
Drops	; rare .
Strategy	Use Shion, KOS-MOS, and MOMO to avoid the male-attack counter. and prevent two of Mintia‘s most disruptive effects; removes Special Chains. Keep enough HP to survive without repeatedly feeding a large heal to the blue Bibo attack. Steal both items, then use , , , and other reliable Far or Ether attacks while one character handles healing.

After the fight, MOMO learns , which can turn a Gnosis into an item when it deals the finishing blow. Return to and save again.

Happy Robot Head

You’ll probably want to save again if you’ve done everything right. Before heading back to the , leave the City Sector and go to the A.G.W.S. Parts Shop and Foundation .

Step	Action
1	Go downstairs and talk to Professor.
2	Show him the from .
3	After Assistant Scott leaves, Professor will give Shion the Ether.
4	Set in Shion’s Ether menu. It is a one-use-per-battle summon that attacks all enemies.
5	Repair your A.G.W.S. frames at the shop if necessary.
6	Leave the shop and head to the Launch Pad.

MOMO?

When Shion arrives on the , MOMO is still at the . The following short loop advances the story.

Look for MOMO
Step	Action
1	Try to take the train. Shion will say that she’s worried about MOMO.
2	Return to the shuttle and go back to the Launch Pad.
3	Look around, then try to leave by the stairs. Shion will decide MOMO would not have gone back that way.
4	Board the shuttle and return to the .
5	Take the train to the Residential Area.
6	Head toward the bedrooms and watch the cut scenes.
