Clear the Residential Area before detouring to the Hangar. This gets the Key ItemUnlocks the Casino exchange, Poker, and Slots when used at an E.V.S.-enabled save point. and reserves 6,000G first, so you cannot trigger a time-sensitive offer without the money to answer it.
Residential Area and Casino Passport
The Residential Area is made up of the shuttle area, the first residential area to its left, and the second residential area beyond the Game Room.

I spent about two hours here, well, actually on the LocationThe cargo ship that becomes the party’s main transportation hub. at the Dock Area, and made a half-million G. Then I decided to play some drill!
If Segment 16 is not already complete, this E.V.S. point is another chance to revisit the LocationThe Federation cruiser used for the opening mission. and collect the ItemTarget: Physical Attack +50%. The main route handled that cleanup before LocationA service colony with the Talk to Me shop and optional returns., so it does not become a second loot-tracker item here.

The shop sells useful current equipment, ItemTarget: 1, HP recovery/Mid (150 HP), ItemTarget: 1, EP recovery/Mid (+20 EP), and ItemCard game booster pack #2. Opens into 10 XenoCards: 1 rare, 2 uncommon, and 7 common from the second card pool.. Buy what helps, sell unwanted barter items, and keep at least 6,000G for the Hangar Email. The Shops reference lists its later restocks.
The 6,000G investment
Return to the train and go to the Hangar. Head all the way right and through the large door to trigger the investment Email.

Save in the Hangar if you want, then return to the train and go to the Park.
Park and Email cleanup
Head right, ride the left side of the escalator-like ramp up, and enter the room for a cut scene.

After a few cut scenes, and wholly mixed-appropriateness music, and a bunch more cut scenes, you’ll be in control of Shion again.
Return to the train and head to the Dock. You might wanna save en route. Talk to Jr. on the upper level, then enter the shuttle and travel to the LocationThe Foundation colony and its City Sector 26 & 27..
Gaignun’s Private Beach
After another bunch of cut scenes, you start on the beach. Try to leave and, if you’ve been following the hacker Emails, you should receive “Nishikigi Flower: Snake Charmer.” Choose LocationThe Kukai Foundation flagship and recurring hub., the second reply.
Be sure to check the Emails and Investments reference instead of guessing wrong. ;)
Go to the right side of the beach and try to leave again. After the short scene, exit to the LocationThe Foundation colony and its City Sector 26 & 27. map.
The next route begins with the Robot Academy and City Sector.
