Deck rules worth remembering
| Situation | Actionable rule |
|---|---|
| Card costs | Every point of cost removes a card from your deck. Use expensive cards to end a game, not merely to make the board look impressive. |
| E marks | A newly played card with an E mark cannot satisfy another card’s requirement until the mark clears. |
| Playing a Gnosis card | You must remove a non-E Human from your side. Do not discover this by sacrificing your Lv 10 Shion. Again. |
| Requirements | Keep inexpensive Humans available; many upper-level cards require at least one Human in play. |
| Mech events | Many strong Event cards require two Mech units; KOS-MOS counts as one. |
| Shion discounts | Shion must be on the battlefield, not Standby, to make eligible KOS-MOS and VX cards free. |
| Swimsuit Shion | It does not satisfy effects that specifically require Shion, although normal uniqueness restrictions still apply. |
| Realians | Their low cost and relaxed deployment limit make them useful for early board presence and disposable defense. |
| High-cost cards | Build around one or two card families; a deck full of expensive “best cards” can fail before meeting their requirements. |
Attack types at a glance
| Attack | What it can reach |
|---|---|
| Hand | Must attack from the front row and hits the card directly ahead. It cannot reach the opposing deck. |
| Ballistic | Can attack from the back row and fires through its lane: front card, rear card, then deck. |
| Spread | Damages every enemy Battle card but does not hit the deck. Use it to clear a path for something else. |
| Homing | Attacks the opposing deck regardless of cards on the battlefield. Protect these cards if direct deck damage is your plan. |
Game modes and rewards
| Mode | Length | Reward behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Exhibition | One match | Choose from the available opponents; a win gives one Card Pack. |
| Tournament | Five matches | Each victory adds a Card Pack. The first complete tournament win also gives a A.G.W.S. AccessoryAgility +1; later complete wins can give Swimsuit Shion or Swimsuit MOMO promotional cards. |
| Two-player | Local match | No main-game reward. |
