Highbridge

Talk to Cid and use the NavMap to select Highbridge. This is a short story visit with no battles, treasure, or complicated directions. Go straight. Watch the cut scene. And another. And another.

When the guards stop the party, Shelinda steps in and arranges the audience. By the way, if you’ve played Xenosaga, listen really closely when she says, “You can count on me!” I nearly fell off the couch laughing, imagining MOMO and Ziggy fighting. I couldn’t help myself, so I looked it up. Guess what? :D Sherry Lynn. What are the odds of the same line in two different games? I suspect a funny story is lurking under the hood here.

Keep watching through the conversations with Mika and the fayth. There is nothing to collect and no dialogue choice that changes the route. Eventually, you’ll be back on the airship.

Back aboard the airship

Talk to Auron, then go onto the bridge and talk to Wakka. Talk to the others too if you want to laugh. Once the party finishes settling on a plan, Sin appears as a NavMap destination.

You can head directly there to continue the story, but this is also the broad endgame cleanup window. I recommend walking the majority of the Temple Revisit Route at least once. You can capture the animals you didn’t get before and do some of the other interesting side quests along the way. The navigation has the full list when you are ready to disappear into it for a while.
