Equip your strongest endgame setup and heal up so you can survive Flare Star. Auto-Haste, Auto-Regen, Blue Magic14 MP Blue Magic. Gives one target a one-time automatic revive after KO. Support Ability, and Shell can all help.

When you’re sure you’re done playing around, head forward and cue the endgame-battle music. He carries a EquipmentAdd-on for: All, a EquipmentArmor for: Female Only and an ItemRestore MP (150 if in battle, 100 otherwise). Steal if you want, then use your most powerful fixed damage attacks (Thievery, Dragon’s Crest, Shock, and Frog Drop for my party). Keep your HP up. Flare Star’s damage is proportional to your level, so the higher your level, the more damage it will do. When you see him cast Ultima, the battle is over.

Choose any four party members, equip your best gear, and prioritize protection from Stop and other status effects.

Now you get to fight BossFinal boss fought at the Hill of Despair. Weak to Wind and Holy, immune to Earth, and carries four Elixirs to steal. Grand Cross can inflict numerous status effects.. You can steal an ItemFully restores one character's HP and MP. or four, but really it’s time to just concentrate on dealing as much damage as possible, while leaving at least one character ready at all times to use ItemRemove Status Effect: Zombie to cure EnemyIifa Tree undead enemy. Weak to Fire and Holy; takes half damage from Shadow. Can be eaten by Quina to learn Roulette. - ESPECIALLY if you use Auto-Regen. When you’ve beaten him, Congratulations!

Epilogue

Depending on what you have in your inventory, you may see a different series of things. Try reverting to your last save and watching the ending without the Hammer.
