Head down and right from the town of Lyton and enter LocationMountain route leading to Tamur..

At the first sign reading “Danger Ahead! Turn Back!” go south to find a chest with a Recovery ItemRestores a limited amount of MP to one ally. (). Continue until you reach a sign reading “South: detour.” Go west and a little north to find an Recovery ItemRevives one fainted ally with restored HP. () in a chest just to the right of a sign reading “Another Hidden Path.” Backtrack to the “South: detour” sign, go south, pass the fork leading west, and follow the east wall to a chest with a Recovery ItemRestores more HP than an Herb to one ally. (). Head west from there until you find the sign reading “Danger Dead Ahead! Turn Back!”
From the “Danger Dead Ahead! Turn Back!” sign, go northwest until you find a sign reading “West: Tamur,” then continue northwest to a sign reading “Hidden Path” and a chest with a HeadgearEquippable by Kyle. Defense +15. (). Equip that to Kyle, then backtrack to the “Danger Dead Ahead! Turn Back!” sign. Go west, then take the opening leading southwest. At the next fork, the east path leads toward the main encounter. Continue south and a little west first to find the “Welcome to Tamur” sign and a chest with a AccessoryEquippable by everyone. Defense +2; Range +8. Raises movement range. (). You may also receive a AccessoryEquippable by everyone. Defense +2; Range +8. Raises movement range. as an enemy drop in this area. Head northwest from there to a sign reading “Fight On To Tamur!” Go north and west to find the WeaponEquippable by Mia. Attack +54; Agility +20. (). Equip that to Mia, then return to the fork and take the east path.
Fire works well against most of the enemies here, so make sure Alex has the WeaponEquippable by Alex. Attack +49. equipped. Enemy212 HP; 242 EXP; 213 Silver. Encountered in Tamur Pass. Strategy: Fire is effective; Needle Shot can inflict Poison. can inflict Poison, Enemy126 HP; 432 EXP; 135 Silver. Encountered in Tamur Pass. Heading right will trigger a couple of hard battles, and you’ll be back attacked. You may want to use Nall’s menu to put your buff folks in the back row instead of the front row. Heal up and head right until you trigger a cut scene. Concentrate on the Dark Sorcerers and use magic or physical skills against the Carapace Knights. Tamur
There’s an item store just as you enter town. You can buy a AccessoryEquippable by everyone. Defense +10. Raises Defense. for the first time, but the rest of the items aren’t that rare. Directly up from that is a weapon shop. You can buy some things you’ve seen before, but get a WeaponEquippable by Jessica. Attack +56. for Jessica and a WeaponEquippable by Kyle. Attack +60; Agility +5. for Kyle. Give Kyle’s WeaponEquippable by Alex, Kyle. Attack +55. to Alex to equip and move the WeaponEquippable by Alex. Attack +49. to Nall for storage. Up from there is an armor shop. Upgrade Alex and Kyle to the new Body ArmorEquippable by Alex, Kyle. Defense +29; Magic Endurance +10.. Give Jessica the Body ArmorEquippable by Jessica. Defense +26; Magic Endurance +4.. Give Mia the Body ArmorEquippable by Mia. Defense +26. and give Nash the Body ArmorEquippable by Nash. Defense +31.. See Tamur’s complete shop inventory.
Optional: Level Up
The next phase of this journey will only allow you to level up Alex. If you want to level up the other characters, you can go back through LocationMountain route leading to Tamur. before telling Laike you’re ready.
When you’re ready to move on, head out through the north gate of the city and tell Laike you’re ready. Technically you could level up Alex by fighting monsters in the forest just east and south of the town, but Laike isn’t really into that. Head up and right and find the tower. Enter the tower and talk to the blue-haired guy there.
Myght’s Tower
On the entry floor, go through the doors in this order: Planet, Star, Sun, Moon. Yes, this means you’ll be backtracking in a few places.

From here things are a little weirder. If you enter an elevator on the left side of the screen, it will go up. An elevator on the right side will go down. If you run across a Enemy54 HP; 93 EXP; 124 Silver. Encountered in Myght's Tower. Strategy: Normal attacks are unreliable; Alex's Sword Dance reliably damages it., don’t rely on normal attacks. Alex’s MagicAlex's 6 MP ability delivers a rapid series of sword strikes, affecting one enemy. reliably hurts it.
First Floor
There’s nothing to the right, so go slightly left and get on the elevator to the second floor.
Second Floor
The only thing you can do here is go in the door to your left. There are two exits here, one in the middle and one on the far right. The far-right exit is a dead end, so go through the middle exit. From here you can either enter another door to the left or hop on the elevator. Go through the door and find the chest on the lower left to obtain a Recovery ItemRestores all MP to one ally. (). There’s an exit to the left of the chest, but it leads to a dead end. Head back out the door you came through and hop on the elevator. It will take you down to the first floor again. Head left and get on the elevator going up. When it stops, get off and then get right back on to head to the third floor, then hop off and back on to get to the fourth floor.
Fourth Floor
Go through the door. There’s an exit on the left and one on the right. Head around the maze to the exit on the far right. There are two doors here, one to the right and one to the left. Go through the left door and head through the maze to the chest in the upper left with a WeaponEquippable by Alex. Attack +61. (). Equip that to Alex. The exit on the far left here is a dead end, so go back out the door you came through on the lower right. This time go through the far-right door and find a chest in the middle with a Recovery ItemRestores more HP than an Herb to one ally. (). Go out the way you came and use the elevator to head back to the first floor, then take the other elevator to the third floor. Yes, I know there was another exit to that last room, but it just wraps you around to the start of the level.
Third Floor
There’s a single door to the left here. Go through there and make your way to a chest in the lower right for another AccessoryEquippable by everyone. Defense +15; Magic Endurance +15. Raises magic resistance. (). Head to the exit on the lower right and go through the door on the far right of the next screen. Open the chest here for 500 Silver (), then head to the exit on the far lower left. Talk to the lady in the upper right to learn how to quickly exit the tower, then talk to the guy in the upper middle. The right exit goes to the tower roof, but there’s nothing there yet. Go through the door on the upper left and leave the tower via either of the lower doors. They head to the same place. Then head back to Tamur.
