There are red portals you can jump into here. When you do that, you’ll end up somewhere else. You can’t go back through them, so be careful not to miss any treasure by skipping too far ahead. My general rule here is to give the AccessoryEquippable by everyone. Defense +1. Halves MP costs. to Mia and have her cast fire-all magic while everyone else attacks. When she runs out of magic, I transfer the ring to Nash and have him cast thunder-all while everyone else physically attacks. I can usually take out all the enemies before they get a single shot in at this point, so I don’t even have to use my Recovery ItemRestores more HP than an Herb to one ally. or Recovery ItemRestores a limited amount of MP to one ally. items. There’s an HP/MP refresh spot on the fourth floor.

First Floor

Head up from the entrance and take the first right until you find a room with a chest. Grab the Recovery ItemRestores more HP than an Herb to one ally. () and jump in the chute. There’s another Recovery ItemRestores more HP than an Herb to one ally. () in the next area and a chute taking you to a chest containing Body ArmorEquippable by Jessica. Defense +30; Magic Endurance +6. () for Jessica. Equip that, then head through the chute here and follow the path to a chest with a Recovery ItemRestores all MP to one ally. (). Follow the path down until you see a chute that has an up arrow on it. Jump in to head to the second floor.

You can take a shorter path by heading all the way left from the entrance and hopping in the first chute, but that route skips the first Recovery ItemRestores more HP than an Herb to one ally.. It drops you in the area with the second Recovery ItemRestores more HP than an Herb to one ally. and continues to the Body ArmorEquippable by Jessica. Defense +30; Magic Endurance +6. from there.

Second Floor

This first area has two chutes in the upper left, a chest with a Recovery ItemRestores all MP to one ally. () in the upper middle, and another chute in the upper right. Grab the item, then take the left chute in the upper left. Follow the upper wall past a chute until you get to a room with a chest hidden in the lower-left corner containing an AccessoryEquippable by everyone. Defense +1. Automatically revives the wearer once. (). Head right to a room with a chest containing a Armlet / BraceletEquippable by Nash. Defense +16; Wisdom +15. () for Nash. The chute you passed earlier just takes you back to this area, so head down and left until you find a chute with an arrow pointing up. Take that to get to the third floor.

Third Floor

Head down, then all the way left, then down and into a chute. There are two chutes on this level. Take the left one, then head up on the next screen and take the chute at the top. Head right, then up until you can jump into a chute heading left. Go left from there and watch the dialogue. Head left and open the chest for Kyle’s ShieldEquippable by Kyle. Defense +19. (). Continue along the path down to reach a chute to the fourth floor.

Fourth Floor

Look around, talk to the folks, and restore your MP/HP here. Go through the door on the left, and head right, then down until you see a barely visible chest. Open that for another AccessoryEquippable by everyone. Defense +1. Regenerates HP during battle. (). Given the number of Recovery ItemRestores more HP than an Herb to one ally. items you get in this area, you probably won’t need it, but there you are. Continue down, then take a left and head up through the second doorway to find the stairs to the fifth floor.

Grindery Quarters

Fifth Floor

Head right, then look in the last room up to get a HeadgearEquippable by Nash. Defense +15. () for Nash. Equip that, then head back to the left. All the way left and down you’ll find an HeadgearEquippable by Kyle. Defense +18. () for Kyle. Equip it and go right, then up to find the stairs to the sixth floor.

Sixth Floor

Head all the way right, then down. Go all the way left to find a HeadgearEquippable by Mia. Defense +17; Wisdom +6. () for Mia. Equip it, then head up the stairs.

Seventh Floor

The left chest has a Recovery ItemRestores a limited amount of MP to one ally. () and the right has a Recovery ItemRestores more HP than an Herb to one ally. (). Grab those, then head up. Watch the dialogue, then head up the stairs. Make sure your folks are healed, save your game, then head up.
