Omega Weapon (Disc 4)
Just before the final battle in Ultimecia’s Castle, you can tackle this optional, extremely OP boss. Unless you know what you are doing, or the this castle has been easy and you want a REAL challenge, I’d caution you to skip this one. If you don’t have at least one character with 9999 HP, don’t bother. You WILL NOT win.

| 3 | Go through the doorway there and down the stairs to where the rope is. |
| 4 | Pull the rope, then run to the green circle there. |
| 5 | Switch to the attacking party. |
| 6 | Head around the fountain and prep before going through the doorway to where the black cloud usually is. |
Boss Fight Prep
Be ready with ItemFully restores abnormal status and HP to all members Useful chain: buy 10 Elixirs at Esthar Shop!!!, then use Med LV Up to make 1 Megalixir.. Don’t bother with regular healing spells. If you have a ItemMakes all party members invincible or something else that renders you invulnerable, get them ready. Make sure you can draw (you can draw-cast ultima at him). Make sure all your characters have 9,999 HP (Junction Ultima to HP if you have to). Junction 100 Death Spells to Elem Def. Junction your speed as fast as possible. Be ready with Meltdown. Be ready with Aura. I recommend Squall (for Lionheart) and Irvine with ItemArmor-piercing ammo (quick shot is your friend). Don’t junction magic to elem attack.
If you see the words “Terra Break,” or “Megido Flame” either summon SystemGuardian Forces are FF8's summons and the source of most junction, command, support, refine, and stat-growth abilities., use a ItemMakes all party members invincible, or be ready to revive. The only way to beat BossOptional superboss in Ultimecia Castle. Bring 9999 HP, Aura, Holy War, and a willingness to get worked. is to do REAL damage, REAL quick, and be invulnerable. Don’t feel bad if you keep getting worked.
Have one character cast Aura on Squall, and another character immediately AFTER that use a ItemMakes all party members invincible. That will allow you to not get killed. Let Squall use his Renzokuken three times, then have the characters get ready to do it again as soon as the ItemMakes all party members invincible wears off. BossOptional superboss in Ultimecia Castle. Bring 9999 HP, Aura, Holy War, and a willingness to get worked. may get a couple of free shots, but it shouldn’t kill you off.
When the battle is over, you get a 3-stars, and your SystemGuardian Forces are FF8's summons and the source of most junction, command, support, refine, and stat-growth abilities. get 250 AP!
